From an early age Cyrille Brotto became immersed in traditional music of the langue d’oc, and it was through Perlinpinpin Fòlc and Patrick Cadeillan that he discovered the diatonic accordion.
A creative and curious artist, he created his own style of playing, quite unique, through an in-depth knowledge of ‘collectages’, his studies in musicology and numerous encounters. For more than 10 years he has been travelling far and wide to take part in concerts, balls and master-classes in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Germany…with surprising musicality and virtuosity.

Today, Cyrille Brotto is universally recognised as one of the most talented accordion players of the new generation, and his style has established itself as one of the most sumptuous and innovative.

After several successful collaborations (Duo BROTTO/LOPEZ, Xavier VIDAL…), his new shows give him the opportunity to devote himself fully, brimming with energy as he does, to revisiting the much talked-about ‘bal trad’’ with a “groove de casa”.
