Etchegoyen

ANNE ETCHEGOYEN is a rare artist whose voice, charisma and femininity combine strength with respect of her origins and with modernism.
After studying classical singing, she became the first female solo artist to join the Oldarra male choir, so specifically masculine. In 2003, she performed the national anthem at the Stade de France at the opening of the Athletics World Championships. Then she began a series of concerts in France, the United States and latterly in Argentina, from where she drew inspiration for her latest album.
Anne is attracted by multiculturalism and by the diversity of languages. Her repertoire includes Basque, Spanish and French songs, the three languages spoken in her country. In 2009, she invited a few artist friends of hers to join her on stage at Olympia. The concert hall was full.
